You know you want to cook a leftover turkey that you’ve been meaning to cook.
But how do you get the juices to come out?
Here are the basic steps to take to get the most out of the turkey, and you can do it in no time at all.
Read more: How to Make a Chicken and Vegetable Broth from Frozen Turkey (free) Ingredients 1.5 lbs ground turkey, cut into pieces 3-4 lbs of ground turkey pieces, diced 4 oz. fresh spinach 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped 1/4 cup dried basil leaves, chopped (optional) 1/3 cup olive oil 2 tbsp butter, softened (or margarine or coconut oil) 1 cup finely chopped onion, chopped 2 tbsp garlic powder 1 tsp kosher salt 1/8 tsp black pepper 1 tsp cayenne pepper 2 tbsp minced fresh parsnips, chopped 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice Directions Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Wash, dry and cut the turkey into bite-size pieces.
Place the turkey pieces in a large shallow dish.
Drizzle the olive oil over the turkey.
Season with kosher salt and pepper, then sprinkle in the garlic powder and cayenaotes.
Add the spinach and sauté until wilted, about 3 minutes.
Add in the parsley and basil leaves and saute for another minute.
Add back the garlic, onion, and herbs.
Stir in the butter and olive oil and stir well.
Cook for 5-6 minutes, until the butter is melted and the chicken is cooked through.
