The Chuck roast is the classic stew made by cooking a large roast chicken in a slow cooker, then simmering it with a variety of spices and seasonings.
We’ve tried our hand at making the same recipe in a crockpot.
The results are quite delicious and are a great comfort food.
But the results can also be a bit tricky if you are a novice at cooking.
We’re here to help.
Make the meat 1.
Preheat your crock pot to high heat.
Add the chicken and the broth.
Simmer the meat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it’s tender.
Drain the liquid from the chicken.
Add salt, pepper, oregano, bay leaves, black pepper, and chili powder.
Simmulate for 30 more minutes, turning off the heat and stirring frequently.
Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
