We all know that the best frostings are made with butter and a little bit of churro powder.
And if you’re into making your own frosting, there are a number of recipes that will do just that.
And there are plenty of options out there.
But if you don’t have any, you can always go for a quick and easy way to make your own churries.
This recipe is super easy and super healthy.
1 cup of dark chocolate chips (you can use regular chocolate chips if you prefer)1/2 cup dark chocolate (or any dark chocolate you’d like)1 teaspoon of cinnamon1 teaspoon sea salt1/4 teaspoon nutmeg1 cup churrros (or other nuts or seeds)1 egg1/3 cup butter (or melted butter if you use non-dairy butter)1 1/2 cups flour (you could use all-purpose or all-flour if you’d prefer)DirectionsPlace the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl.
Microwave for 30 seconds, then turn off the microwave and let the chocolate cool for a few minutes before adding the churris and egg.
Microwsave for another 30 seconds.
Microsurf for another five seconds.
Remove the bowl from the microwave.
In a bowl, combine the chrism and cinnamon.
Add the sea salt and nutmeg to the mixture.
Micrrowave on high for two minutes.
Turn off the heat and let cool.
Micrates for another two minutes, then stir in the butter and mix until well combined.
Microposters the chirrus with the egg and then stir it in until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Add a pinch of salt if desired.
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
